Four things to include when you report a wrong conversion factor to Measure Owl

Found a factor that looks wrong, a unit that is missing or a page that is awkward on your phone? Use the feedback form at the bottom of this page. Measure Owl has no public email inbox, so the form is how the team hears from you, and every note is read when fixes are planned.

Make the report easy to check

  • The converter page you were on, and the two units you picked.
  • The number you typed, the answer you got and the answer you expected.
  • Where your expected answer comes from, such as a standard or a published table.

Asking for a missing unit

A unit is added when it has an exact or widely accepted definition. Choose the topic “Missing a unit”, name it and give the reference. Read what Measure Owl covers and what it leaves out first, so the request fits.

What the form keeps

The form saves the time, whether you pressed helpful or needs improvement, the page address, your chosen topic and any text you write, up to 1,000 characters. It does not ask for a name or an email address and does not keep your IP address with the note. The newest 300 notes are kept.

What the Measure Owl feedback form saves and what it does not save

Rights and removal

To ask for a note to be deleted or to raise a rights concern about something on a page, pick “Rights or removal request”, name the page and say what should change. Because notes are anonymous, a deletion is matched to the page and time you describe.

Frequently asked questions

Will I get a reply?

No. The form holds no contact details, so notes cannot be answered one by one. A fix goes live on the page and its updated date moves.

Can you add a unit I need?

Usually, if it has an exact or widely accepted definition. Send the name and a reference in the details box.

Do you keep my email?

Measure Owl never asks for one. See the privacy policy for the little that is stored.
